With it's Baltic Birch playing surface, the Amateur Elegant is a beautifully finished board that plays almost as well as a tournament model. It compares favorably to either Surco Champion or Tiger, especially due to the superfast frame. The playing surface is identical with the Precise Champion except that it is 4mm thinner, making it ever so slightly less fast. Still, this is a beautiful board and significantly better quality than any Surco product.
