Our house brand, manufactured in Meerut, features a smooth playing surface of 1/2" plywood with a light-colored veneer. The frame is made of shisham wood, either painted black or unfinished, and there is no latticework backbracing. It doesn't play quite as well as the "Winit" but is better than the "Ellora" since you can use a tournament striker with good results.
